The First Carlist War ended in 1840.

 

2 What form of government did they have during the reign of Isabel II?

 

During the reign of Isabel II the form of goverment was a Constitutional Monarchy, that limited her power.

 

3 What happened in 1868? 

 

In 1868 a revolution called La Gloriosa made the goverment to resign and Isabel to exile.

This week we start a new content related to our History project.

Now it is the turn of the 18th century, we will learn about:

 The Enlightenment and the Bourbons: the new dynasty that reigned in Spain after the War of Succession.

 This week we have studied Charles I and Philip II.

Now it is the turn of Philip III, Philip IV and Charles II (the minor Habsburgs).

For this reason, we are going to ask you to do some research.
