Answer these three questions in your notebook in the social section.

2 How long did the First Republic last?


 
3 Who became king after the First Republic? How was he related to Isabel II?

The First Carlist War ended in 1840.

 


2 What form of government did they have during the reign of Isabel II?

 

During the reign of Isabel II the form of goverment was a Constitutional Monarchy, that limited her power.

 


3 What happened in 1868? 

 

In 1868 a revolution called La Gloriosa made the goverment to resign and Isabel to exile.

CONTEMPORARY AGE, 19th CENTURY

 Hello students!
Are you ready to continue discovering the history of Spain?
This time we propose you to investigate the most important events of the 19th century.


I will give you a clue, the name of our school is related to these events.


Here is a presentation and a research proposal.
